To have a fair shot of becoming English, you need to have cream tea or high tea on a regular basis. That’s just the way it is. Or that is at least how we often defend our regular visits to Grand Café. Look at the amount of food they bring for two people! It’s enough for an entire day, but it’s great. Hannah (in the picture) is American, so we both do our best to fit in with tweeds, punds and pimms. Wonderful.
